Gamma Epsilon is an invitation only honors society. All students who meet the prerequisite GPA receive an invitation via email. To accept this invitation to be inducted into the Gamma Epsilon Engineering Society applicants must:
1.) Attend at least two events hosted by Gamma Epsilon this semester.
These events include Engineering Open House exhibits, IM-A-GE Lunches with professors and faculty, Executive Board Elections, and many more social and philanthropic events.
2.) Pay the one time due of $40
The dues should be in the form of cash or check made out to Gamma Epsilon. The fee entitles you to a membership certificate, an embossed resume padfolio and a ticket for the 2015 Spring Awards Banquet Formal Induction Ceremony. If the dues present a financial hardship for you, please contact our faculty adviser, Professor Ali Abbas (aliabbas@uiuc.edu) to discuss alternatives.
3.) Write a short essay (300-word maximum) describing what General Engineering means to you and why you chose it.
Place your name, NetID and expected graduation date in the upper right corner and include the following title information
